Anyone got a line on a source of 7.7 Japanese brass for reloading. Can not seem to find any in the normal channels.

Here's where I bought mine, good brass with no troubles! Fairly cheap too!
Graf's On the left side of the page go to "brass and bullets" . Then select "graf's" on the next screen down. I think it is near the bottom.

Thanks for the info but they are out of stock. I know Norma makes it but it is about $.85 per case! LDBennett |

Sorry about that. I do have a new bag of 100 in the garage. Now, how many you need? Maybe we can work something out. I bought them a while back because I knew they are scarce.

we make our own 7.7 JAP cases from GI .30-06 brass...
we like to buy it from GRAF, but there always out of stock... if your realy hard up email me at the shop at waltsgun@aol.com i think we charge $0.50 per case (hundred cases packed)... my dad and i both own and shot TYPE 99`S, and the home made cases work perfectly... best regards, mike. |

I use Remington 8mm Mauser brass run through the 7.7 resizer. No trimming etc. needed, just load it up as normal after sizing. Works fine through my Type 99. Neck size after that using a Lee .303 Brit collet die with a large washer on top of the case holder to accommodate brass length and extend life.

Just got the latest Graf's catalog and they now have the 7.7x58 brass for sale again at $28.99/hundred! Think I'll buy another 200 just to keep some on hand!
