Question military blowgun?

Has anyone seen what is a military blowgun? Any ideas on how to modify an ordinary blowgun into a military blowgun?

I saw an article about this extremely powerful blowgun in BLOWGUNNORTHWEST.

Impossible!!!!! Most blowguns are 50-65 caliber, the US Military is only equipped with 22 caliber personal defense.

Then it would not be the standard type blow gun, it would have to be powered........then it would no longer be a blow gun.

IKH, 2000 fps requires a lot of compressed air; this must be the model the Sargeant Majors, and the CMS's use, right???

I was personally issued one while in the Corps. I am precluded from talking about it do to the sensitive nature of the ops.

Paint it green, ask five times what it is worth, and become a defense contractor; Hell, boy, it don't even have to work!
A military blowgun is nothing more than a piece of pipe that got drafted.

Yes we do have a powerful military spec blowgun.

It fires a 90 grain, 12mm dia, and 7.5cm long steel dart with polymer boot at 1,450 fps mv, 1,050 fps 100m, and 860 fps at max effective range of 210m. Maximum range is 800m. Max rate of fire is 15 rpm and sustained rate of fire is 9 rpm and countinous rate of fire is 6 rpm.

We have had excellent success in subtly destroying enemy observation balloons. Troops have also found it ideal for annoying people with armored vehicles and guns. It's also goshdarn fun playing a round of darts from clear across a basketball court.

The extremely high velocity is no big secret. It's achieved by sending the best troops to lamas breathing and yoga breathing siminars; sometimes for several moths. By that, and not smoking much, and plenty of teflon lubed darts, they shoot really hard. Yeah, they really blow!

The blowgun is very cool. But i'm holding out for the anti-aircraft wrist-mounted crossbow. That's what I'm gonna reenlist for.

A homemade musket with sewer pipe and 14.5mm rounds is always a winner too.

Actually, I believe that the Blowgun was proposed as a military weapon during the Clinton era.

The quiver holds 11 darts, so I think Marsha protested using tax money to buy an illegal assault weapon...that's why we're just seeing it fielded....

Here is the article:

http://www.blowgunsnorthwest.com/soldier.htm

It said that those blowguns are modified versions. So,does that mean normal people can shoot that hard?

Anyway, what is the calibre of that blowgun?
