H&R Model 900 info please.
I inherited a .22 H&R Model 900 that used to be my grandfathers when he ran trap lines up in PA. It's got a 6" barrel, and a 9 shot cylinder which rotates completely out of the frame for loading/unloading. It's got yellowed plastic grips, but they easily may have been cream or ivory colored at an earlier time. It's got a fixed blade up front and receiver notch for a rear sight. It cycles like a charm, and was easily putting scores of 22LR into a 2" circle at 25yds from a rested position. Was outshooting my Dad's brand new Ruger Singlesix in 22WMR...by a considerable margin. The barrel is stamped "MODEL 900 .22 CAL." Underneath is "H&R Inc., Worc., Mass USA" Serial number on the bottom of the grip is Y16755. Any background you guys could give would be great. Age / Value, etc. Also, it says .22 CAL, but doesn't specify Short, LR or anything else. The cylinder looks long enough to chamber WMR, but I dont know if it is designed for those.
Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid.
