Default IDPA/IPSC matches in eastern NC???

Hi folks. My wife and I are becoming interested in these shooting sports but aren't able to find anything going on around our area. All the ranges that used to host shoots, it seems, are no longer doing so (Havelock, Jacksonville, etc.).

Anybody know of an active range near here?

First Saturday - USPSA - http://www.sirwaltergunclub.com/

First Sunday - IDPA - http://users.gloryroad.net/~idpa/

Second Saturday - USPSA - http://fbncrange14.googlepages.com/

Second Sunday - IDPA- http://users.gloryroad.net/~idpa/

Third Saturday - Fun Match - http://www.oldhickorygunclub.com/index.html

Third Sunday - USPSA - http://www.anthillrange.com/

Fourth Saturday - Fun Match - http://www.pittcountywildlifeclub.org/index.htm

The fun matches are pretty much USPSA but scored like IDPA. There are several more but these are the closest to your area.

JD,

Have you and your wife tried skeet or sporting clays ?? There is a great place to shoot in Pamlico county, Feather and F Sporting Clays. Hey JD, did you drive a 58 Chevy back in high school ??
