THE FIRST ONE HAS WRITTEN ONE IT ITHACA GUN CO ITHACA NY PATENT NO. 1849982 MODEL 37 FEATHERLIGHT 20 GA 2 3/4 CHAMBER. THE SECOND ONE IS A IVER JOHNSON DOUBLE BARREL IT SAYS ARMS AND CYCLE WORKS FITCHBURG MASS USA HAMMER FORGED. JUST WONDERING IF THEY ARE WORTH ANYTHING AT ALL.

iver johnson manufactured four different double barrel shotguns from about 1913 until 1941. iver johnson hammerless 1913-1923, iver johnson hercules grade hammerless 1924-1941, iver johnson supertrap hammerless 1924-1941 and iver johnson 'skeet-er' 1927-1941. value would be dependant upon condition and which model it is, any where from $250 to $2500 plus.

Hi Bargirl.....welcome to TFF....and can I buy you a drink?
.....and Ithaca made quite a variety of Model 37 Featherlights, but assuming that yours is the Featherlight Standard in 20 ga., and not one of the fancier grades, the Blue Book values it at: 95% - $235 90% - $210 80% - $190 70% - $170 I'm going to assume that your Iver Johnson is a Hercules Grade, since they made far more of them than all other grades combined......but I need to know the guage, whether or not it has auto ejectors, and if it has any engraving. And Bargirl.....what's a nice girl like you doing in a joint like this??? ![]() |
