OK folks, the fairy godmother of edged weapons just plunked her skinny butt down on your sofa, and since you've been such a nice, well-behaved, and upstanding young man or woman, she's decided to grant you a boon: She will grant your wish for one folding knife, any one your lil' ol' peapickin' heart desires, no matter the cost. Which knife would you choose?

William Henry Meridian---
William Henry wants this knife to be a great experience. The 3" Wharncliffe blade is made of Mike Norris "Raindrop" damascus and the bolster-frames from Mokume gane (meaning wood-grain metal), hand forged copper, nickel silver and brass, from mastersmith Mike Sakmara. Exhibition grade Mother-of- Pearl handle scales rest on solid mokume frames. The opals set into the thumb stud and the locking button enhance the color in the mother-of-pearl. The bail is sterling silver. Each knife is serial numbered. (Sorry, no choice of serial number.) Weighs 2.7 oz. Includes a William Henry ClipCase™. |

No, I think it is a great looking knife. Personally my taste are simpler. I'm a Cold Steel fan.

Thanks Wolfgang
PS started a thread on fantastic knives you'd like to own. I chose mine. The one in my pocket is an old Timberline assisted opener that I've had for 5 yrs maybe, it's an old friend at this point, but I use it EVERYDAY. That William Henry on the other hand, I'd almost be afraid to take it out of it's fancy leather pocket sheath.... ![]() Last edited by rmrdaddy; 01-28-2006 at 11:39 PM.. |

I just carry Swiss army knives and leatherman tools. Gave up on being pretty or tactical a while back. I left that job to the fixed blade.
