12 Days Of Christmas
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the Christmas season rapidly approaching, we all are pulling our hair out in the mad rush to get everything done. Let us remember, however, that things could be worse. Take the poor girl in "The 12 Days of Christmas", for example:

This guy must really have a thing for birds. The seventh day alone she gets 7 swans a swimming, 6 geese a laying, 4 calling birds, 3 French hens, 2 turtle doves, and a partridge. That's 23 birds! Who is this guy, Alfred Hitchcock?

Wait, it gets worse. By the end of the song, she has 35 swans a swimming, 36 geese a laying, 32 calling birds, 27 French hens, 20 turtle doves, and 12 partridges. That's 162 birds, if you're counting. Let's not forget that these geese are a laying. Some of those eggs are gonna be a hatching. I hope she's got a newspaper subscription.
