actually gunner, they're farting around in the chat room trying to figure out how to prevent rust and we're changing the 1911 forum to the "plastic fantastic" forum.

Ole floppy had to make a hasty departure from the chat room. Seems his glosh forgot his Immodium AD dosage and he had a mishap on his way to the cleaning room! [grins]

Welcome to the Asylum, Happygunner!

Excellent choices on the Kimbers, I applaud your taste. You are obviously a man of style and distinction!

BUT,
Did you fall down and hit your head before you bought the lego pistol though???

Welcome to TFF happygunner! You'll like it here. Psssst, don't pay too much attention to the 1911ers on here. You'll find that in truth they all actually yern for the day when the single action Army Colt was considered high tech. There are a few of us progressive Glock types on here too, though we are forced to wear ghillie suites and camp out in the bush to avoid sniper fire.

I have the 4" Wilson CQB Compact & 4" Wilson Stainless Professional & 5" CQB Wilson and love them all. I have had several other brands in years past with barrel lengths from 3"-5".

Welcome to our wierd world; it will take all of three days, or less, before somebody tries to seduce you into plastic, so be aware, and resist the urge!
You have come into the Church of John Moses Browning, by whatever means, and are most welcome. Terry
