Havn't even owned my Mini-14 for 2 weeks and I'm going to make another purchase tomorrow. The toss up is between a Bushmaster Varmint Special and a Rock River Varmint A4. Who has an opion on either one or is there a better bull barrel AR package I should look at?

I think you'll find that the difference between the Mini and the AR will be like night and day in the accuracy Dept...You're gonna love the AR! I'd pick the Bushie over the RRA only because I have owned one and it was flawless with proper mags and ammo, Inplanotx can tell you more about it's current status. Blackhawk voted for the DPMS, I have a DPMS carbine in my collection that is totally perfect in it's functionality (again with proper mags and ammo) so I would have to agree with him as well, albeit that wasn't in your list of options. Of your choices I would go with Bushmaster.
If your used to a Mini-14. Your gonna love the AR. ![]()

Thanks for the input guys. I decided on the DPMS Bull 20. Wanted the bull barell and Bushmaster's smallest lenght was 24 which I didn't want. Rock River was 6-8 weeks and I don't have the patience for that
Hope to be happy with it. Thanks again... |

The best ammo I've found for self loaders is Wolf's poly coated or Tap poly coated good clean feeding on either brand
