Hi Guys,
I'm having trouble keeping the fiber optic plastic from getting ripped out of my front sight on my TC Hawken while walking through the brush, hunting deer. It's too fragile. Anybody got any ideas?
I'd be grateful.

Replace them with regular sights. I had problems with fiber optic sights breaking on a pistol when holstering. They are not very durable.

Thanks for the advice. I think I already came to the same conclusion. I'll have to put the originals back on. These companies call themselves engineers, designers, innovators, but they ain't hunters or shooters.Really something to throw the gun up and find that the orange aiming point is missing and then try to find it in the snow!
Thanks for the reply, Ol' Guz

I ran across a couple of hunters who experienced the same thing...loosing the fiber optic tubes on their front sights..I think they are going to solve the problem by going back to iron sights. I wish that I had asked the name brand of their sights, it just may be one companys that are doing this

I have replaced about 30 sets of fiber optic sights on customer guns this month already. It just doesn't take much to break them off. The front sight
