Go to *********.com and check the auction prices for norinco .45s. one like new w/o the box, or other things, just sold @ $408.50. There's a bunch up for sale, all sorts of prices. Markets change. An excellent norico is not given away free any longer.

Might check on the Rock Island Armory pieces;; they're cheap, that's all I know about them. If you aren't deadset on the palm safety the Ballester Molina pistols were fairly inexpensive. Likely miss-spelled the Molina's name. Looks like the Rock Islands run $279.99 wholesale with a $15 shipping charge. Then whatever you can get a shop to do the transaction for.
If anybody owns one of the Rocks; they might interject some input. I was almost thinking about having one sent to the shop as a range gun. Looks like they are also listing a compact and a .38 super as being produced. |

Might check the auction sites for a Ballester Molina. One of the Argentine made 1911 clones. I've had a couple of them and they are good solid shooters.
I think I paid around $245-250 apiece for the ones I had. But that was a few years back.

You can't go wrong with a Norinco 1911, Good solid, reliable pistol and the best &350-$400 you will spend. The Norinco is one of the few pistols that Wilson Combat and Les Baer will do custom work on.

Berto, POI: The Argentine contract Colts, are, just that, Colts, in every way and dimension: the Ballester-Molina is a whole different firearm!
I've bought Argy Colts for less than $300, recently, so I know the local market; none of these guns give an inch, in quality, to the parent company. The Ballester - Molina is an entirely different pistol, with none of the Colt's design, or claim to fame.

The Norinco is listed at 250 NIB and 200 in perfect condition. May go for less, may go for more.

RJ, I'll take all the Norinco's you can get for $200.00-$250.00.
After a good long search and finding them mostly going around $350.00-$400.00, I posted on a Wanted List and a real Gentleman offered me a NIB for $275.00 shipped. I could not be happier. HS |

The last NIB Norinco 1911 I bought before the ban was $260 out the door. You got a great deal.
Feed your Norinco well and often and don't forget the range report. ![]() |
