This is my Shooters Arms Manufacturing (S.A.M.) 1911A1 made in the Phillipines. I got it off *********.com for $318.00 including shipping. I bought it for a "fun gun" and never expected it to be a shooter - boy, was I wrong! I ran it against a brand new Para-Ordinance P-14 in a defensive training drill over a two-day period, shooting several boxes of 230-grain rounds without cleaning it. Not only did it survive - it ran the course without a bobble and went shot-for-shot with the P-14! Not only that, but it was as accurate as the Para that cost nearly twice as much! Yep, it's a keeper!

Sounds like a great value. Think of all the extra ammo you can buy
