Default Where to shoot?

Dang....it's frustrating....I know where to go to shoot my .22LR rifle and .357 revolver, but I don't know where I can shoot my 12 ga pump or 20 ga pump out to shoot old toilets or bowling pins, etc. I live in southern Michigan...anyone know of any place?

yup deetroit can use a little clean-up....ever see the flick Trial & Error when Charlize Theron pulls out a sawed off 12 ga and shoots up a few porcelain commodes? Pretty cool 'cept she held it at the hip and the recoil was like she was shootin' a .22 fer goshsakes...

Default leg up

yea, Charlize has a "leg up" on the competition...well, it's been a long road...(a year), BUT I finally have convinced my spouse to come to the shooting range with me tomorrow morning. The next step is to convince her to at least let me keep our 20 ga in the bedroom closet for HD purposes. (I have left the following books on my bedside table: "Dial 911 & Die"; "Guns Save Lives"; "The Best Defense"; and a coupla Massad Ayoob paperbacks....)...
SS
...slowly I turn, step by step....

Sounds great, ss!

Another must in a book is "Shooting Back", written by Charl Van Wyk, which sets forth the necessity of self-protection from the biblical (cites many passages in the Bible that back self-defense) viewpoint.

I recommend it highly as it is a well written and thought out read and is available on line from ShopNetDaily, the on-line store of WorldNetDaily. When I bought my copy it was from curiosity but - - - I found it a good read and feel that every household should have the opportunity to read it. The cost is only $13.80 and well worth it!

The author is a South Afircan, one of those other countries that feels firearms should be only in the hands of police and military.
