Subject: I'm done with this crap !!

Think about this: If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone-----
YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM !!!!

Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue
to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that
came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice??????
NO, WE WON"T!!!

Think about it!

When will they do something about MY RIGHTS?

We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone,
that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem with that.

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11th we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However.... the dust from the attacks had
barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants.

However,
there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty
and our national identity. As Americans......

We have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle.
This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by
millions of men and women who have sought and Fought for freedom.

Hello. . .!!!

WE SPEAK ENGLISH , not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese,
Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society,
"LEARN THE LANGUAGE!!!"

If I call your business to make a purchase and have to DIAL(1)FOR ENGLISH,
"I'M HANGING UP". . . Sell your crap to some Arab

"IN GOD WE TRUST"
is our national motto. This is not some Christian, rightwing, political slogan..

We adopted this motto because Christian men and women.......on Christian principles.....founded
this nation..... and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls
of our schools.

If God offends you,
FIND ANOTHER PART OF THE WORLD as your new home.........

Because
GOD IS PART OF OUR CULTURE!!!

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a
MOVE TO ANOTHER PART OF THIS PLANET
We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from.

OUR LIFESTYLE .
Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so!
But once you are done complaining....... whining...... and griping......about our flag.......our pledge......

LaCrosse, WI Paper Opinion Section had a similiar statement today but was a quote from
Theodore Roosevelt made more eloquently in 1907.

an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone
else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birthplace of
origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing
but an American......there can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag -- the American Flag.
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English Language. And we have room for

Bud, you are right on the money; let me take it bit farther into "the way things should be"!
We must make English the "Official Language", under Federal law, of the United States.
All applications for visas, 'first papers', citizenship, etc, offered in English, ONLY!
School enrollments, applications for financial aid for education, welfare, unemployment, likewise.
Applications for voter registration, drivers license, hunting license, building permits, and bail, likewise.
No matter from where you came, you apparently thought this a better place to be, than the one you left; if you want to be a part of this, you gotta do it "our way"; it's just like a family home.
My girls were, in their late teens, and twenties, somewhat 'adventurous', which is OK by me, if they are self-supporting, and living independently; I feel the same about any other culture, and it's people.
But, when things went wrong, and they came back home, to 'Dear old Dad' , however, I have certain rules, and ways of doing things, much as our nation does. They can 'immigrate', but only if they play bv my rules; what the heck,it's my 'house', right???
The same could work at a national level, should we ever grow the Federal "Balls", to pass and enforce such laws! Rant off. Terry
