Default Marlin MLS50

Does anyone here have any experience with the Marlin MLS50? I'm presently shooting 100gr's of pyro pellets behind a Hornady XTP240gr. Shoots decent but would like to try 777. Can I shoot 100gr's of it as well? what about a good bullet for whitetails? Thanks in advance
