My dad thought it might be fun to convert our lyman new army 44 to cartigde rounds is there any posssible legal way to do this.We want to use it in cowboy shooting and since people back then converted there guns we figured it might be cool any input would be helpful thanks.

There are gunsmiths who will do the conversion. I'm not sure of their names, but google "black powder conversion" and you should be able to find them!!
