When you need a pair of needlenose, you will ABSOLUTELY find all three pairs of sidecutters you own that you couldn't find when you needed one of THEM, but at that time you DID find all your needlenose....

And my personal favorite:

What can possibly go wrong? (Usually followed by a loud noise).

You KNOW IB, that "Measure once, cut twice "makes SENSE....

I mean, when are you MOST sure, the FIRST time, RIGHT?

Like if you measured AGAIN, and get a DIFFERENT measurement, then you have to measure AGAIN<,and even THEN you are only "2 out of three."

Then no matter HOW many times you measure, you will NEVER again be at 100%!

So measure ONCE, and go cut, and BRAG like heck when you get it right, and if you DON'T, just shrug and get another piece, (which you SHOULD have bought anyway!) or just caulk it or cover it with molding...

...

....and if your WIFE is watching, blame it on the saw or tape measure and go buy a new one (like when you go to buy the new piece of wood....

)
