Default Did Kerry Apologize, or did he?????

Here are some interesting comments re: His supposed apology.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
John Kerry apologized. Or did he?
The media is saying this issue is over because Kerry apologized.
For the record, Kerry apologized for a "poorly stated joke"
and expressed "regret" for a "verbal slip" that was "misinterpreted".
But is that an apology? The liberal media says the story is over.
Take a moment to read his apology in its entirety and decide
for yourself:
Listen to what one high-ranking member of Congress said:
"He can apologize all he wants. It doesn't remove the
sentiment that escaped his mouth that day... And I find it
something that is unacceptable... I don't know if any
apology is adequate."
Wait... that was Nancy Pelosi's response in 2002 to Trent Lott's
apology for comments Lott made honoring the late Strom Thurmond
at Thurmond's birthday party.
Lott apologized. Then he apologized again. And again. But the
liberal media and leaders like Pelosi refused to let up. They
said Lott’s original words exposed Lott's true sentiments.
They literally forced him to resign as Senate Majority Leader.
But we're supposed to give John Kerry a free pass.
So, you decide. Is there a double standard in the media? Has
John Kerry really apologized, or did he simply pass off
blame on "Republicans" who "misinterpreted" his comments?
Again, for the record, here is what John Kerry said:
"You know, education, if you make the most of it and you
study hard and you do your homework and you make an
effort to be smart, you--you can do well. If you don't, you
get stuck in Iraq."
I'm even more offended now that Kerry has pseudo-apologized. I
just sent my second round of faxes to Senator Kerry and other
Democratic leaders. If you want to let Sen. Kerry, Nancy Pelosi
and others know what you think, go here:
Thanks for taking action,
Perhaps a good question to ask is how many times he has had to apologize for things he has said. In 1972 he was against the draft but stated that an all volunteer army would be made up of the poor,blacks, and browns. He has the unbelievable ability to say the stupidest things, insult the most people and then slide out from under his statements by saying he was "taken out of context", or "misquoted". I am embarassed to say that I ever served in the same war with this idiot! God; deliver me from liberals!
his problem is the fact that if you did not understand what he meant you do not deserve and apology. Kerry is an ass, he has no sense of humor or the reality of the working man. he should keep his mouth shut and fade away.
don't even get me going on his wife. these are two people that need to be kept as far away from the Whitehouse as possible. and that opinion has nothing to do with party affiliation.
Here is how I see it.
1 He has no problem standing in front of the congress and bash the troops.
2 He has no problem bashing the troops on TV on mulitiple occasions.
3 He has a problem delivering an apology on TV. He????? does it via the Inet. Did HE even write it, or was it one of his staff?
What a coward. Like I said before, he better be carefull what he says or maybe someone, like the one that is in Sixs' sig, will meet up with him.
75% of America is mad at Kerry for what he said. That there are people that either AGREE with him or are defending what he said is distasteful and disgraceful enough....
The PROBLEM is most all REPUBLICANS are upset that anybody could be so ignorant to even THINK like that....
...but most DEMOCRATS are upset that anybody could be so ignorant to actually SAY what most of them actually THINK.....
I would like an apology from all those that voted for him in 04. They should be barred from voting for the next 10 elections just for that.
Kerry did not apologize. He spun.
I agree with Satellite66, what I listened to didn't appear to
be an apology, a smoke screen, but no apology.
He doesn't really have to say he's sorry . . . I already know him to be one of the sorriest $&*@#, ignorant #*^%, to be up there in Washington, D.C.
