HAPPY VETERANS DAY! - The Firearms Forum

I would like to say thank you to all the Veterans who have honorably served this great country! We enjoy so many freedoms that you have provided.

My father fought in World War II and Korea. My grandfather fought in the trenches of WWI. The stories these two told kept our attention for hours on end. The hardship and sacrifice our veterans have endured and still endure to this day deserve our deepest gratitude and respect.

A couple of years ago I went to visit a friend who was in the Veterans Hospital in Dallas. I walked by a room and there was a man who was propped up watching TV who had no arms and no legs. I later found out that he had lost them in Vietnam. Although I do not know the man I still say a prayer for him and give thanks for his sacrifice.

Once again, THANKS to all the Veterans. You are all heroes in my book!

Thank you to all Veterans and active duty !
I would like to say For me it was pleasure to serve our fine country and November 11 will always be a sad day for me it brings to the front of my mind fallen friends. I miss you brothers!
