Default Beretta 302

Does anyone know the difference between the 301, 302, and 303 Beretta? I can't seem to find that info anywhere. I've had a 302 for 20 years or so, but never shot it much. I'm really just kind of curious about the diferences, if any. Thanks

I am wondering if someone can tell me if my A302 is a "Super Lusso".The date-code(AM) shows it to be mfd. in 1984. I don't know much more about it than that. It's 12gauge 3"mag w/28" barrel. Any comments or info will be appreciated. Thanks.

Not a Super Lusso.
They were hand engraved, lots of gold parts, and outstanding exhibition grade walnut.

Nice looking 302 though!
The differences in the 300 series are minor, mostly cosmetic. Almost all the parts will interchange, and interchange with the Browning B-80 as well.

I'm not sure if it matters, but the trigger and safety are gold.It just doesn't show in the pics due to to my bad photography skills.

Better made shotguns have gold plated triggers. The salts in the sweat from your finger will corrode the trigger finish when just blued. The salts in bird blood on your fingers will eat holes in your gun!
Lusso grade firearms from Italy are like a Grade 3-5 Browning, a Super Lusso grade, is like a Grade 6 Exhibition.
Your stock is a Field grade, and the engraving is done by machine.
Here's an example of a Lusso Grade stock:

This would qualify as Super Lusso engraving:
