yesterday i traded my ruger 345 and 50 bucks for a gently used para ordnance p16 in 40 s&w.i have heard rumors that will a new barrel and stiffer recoil spring these can be easily converted to 10mm.is there any truth to this?i used to have a 10mm and i think that a 16 shot 1911 style 10mm would be a great thing if it is possible.can this be done?

I am not sure about the 10mm but I do know most 40's can be easily converted to .357 Sig

I don't know about this conversion, but I'd be a little suspicious about reliable feeding, if you're thinking to use the same mag., aren't you?

I love my Para P1640L. I use it for IPSC. What are you going to do with yours? Haven't met anyone who reloads 357 sig. Pricier ammo than .40 isn't it?

The 10mm case is longer than the 40. It's too cold to go to the garage to check the Lyman book or I would tell you the exact difference!
