With the recent rash of home invasions and my failing eye sight, I've been evaluating my in bed at night approach to self preservation. After carefully looking at everything, the major fault I found was not being able to clearly see the factory white 3 dot sights on my Springfield XD .45.
To help with the problem, I am having tritium night sights installed. I've narrowed it to either Heinie (straight eight) or Truglo (brite-site). I've read the internet hype about each being the best. So now I ask the experts, Do any of you have experience with either sight? Why did you choose the one you chose?

Martbo, I would go with the Tru-Glo TFO (Trituim and Fiber Optic). They are the best in daylight and night time
