Ruger LCR. Need a carry revolver for summer. (donations accepted
) Was carrying a Px4 Storm because of the ambidexterous safety, but it's too cumbersome for summer carry. |

I think I want one of the Taurus Raging Judge Magnums. I could have some fun at the range with that
I am also looking for a classic Smith&Wesson in 41 mag too. As far as what I actually get next will just depend on what catches my eye at the shop. Can never have too many toys to play with.

I've already been looking. I've decided on a S&W,Performance Center, .357 mag., 8 rnd., 2" barrel but I haven't yet found one. The dealers all say they are out of stock and S&W doesn't show them on their web site. I really love the way they look but if I can't find one soon I'll have to go with a 2-1/2" Night Guard.

I went to the toy store today to order the S&W but they had just gotten in a new Springfield EMP 1911. The shop owner, who knows my weakness, asked me if I wanted to be the first kid on the block to have one. I just couldn't pass up an offer like that as I always wanted to have a mini 1911. And now I do. Eat your hearts out kids.

Okay - The LCR is here
Now according to my state, I have to wait 42 days before I can get another one. Its already on order, but I just have to wait for my Ruger SP101 |

I don't have any plans for a new handgun any time soon. Having said that - it can change in a heartbeat if I see something that catches my eye!

Colt Python, 4" barrel, blued.
But, since they cost more than twice what a brand new Ruger GP100 goes for, I'll be going with the Ruger. |

I am trying to round out my revolvers (all S&W or Ruger)
In 38 Special I have 6 inch, 5 inch, 4 inch, 3 inch, and a 1.875 inch. In .357 I have a 8 inch, 6 inch, 4 inch, 2.5 inch and a 1.875 inch. In .44 Mag I have 8 3/8 inch, 7.5 inch, 6 inch, and a 4 inch. So, my next gun will be a Ruger Alaskan in 44 Magnum with a 2.5 inch barrel. Attachment 35598

The next handgun I plan on buying is the Ruger GP100, .357 Magnum revolver. And I'm really looking forward to it.

Two days after I made that statement above, I bought a Chiappa 1911-22. The range report is over in the 1911 forum.

Gonna start looking around for a 44 Mag Virginia Dragoon in stainless steel and 7 1/2 inch barrel. Had one a couple of years ago and got rid of it. Been sorry ever since. Shouldn't be more than $250.00 - $300.00 I think.

I'm still deciding on what I want to add to my list of handguns. So far it's rather barren:
Sig Sauer P226 .40 cal Walther PPS .40 cal Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm I've been lusting over getting a Browning HiPower 9mm but so far, I haven't gotten my old arse out to the local gun stores to look at them. The only one I did see a couple of months ago had that idiot-looking camo coating. But the day I saw that one is the day I bought my Beretta. ![]()
