I've been looking for an Astra 300 or 3000 for a long time. I'm sure a decent deal will find me in time.

I had an Astra 300, carried it all the time. I went and traded it for
a Nambu Type 14 . I'm in the market for a nice concealable. It can be auto or revolver, whatever catches my eye. I also carried a PPK/s and a M1903. TJ

This thread has been around here longer than I have!
![]() My next handgun will be something that catches my eye. I'm not looking for anything specific (handgun wise). Really, it will probably be awhile before I get another handgun. I'm building an AR now, and the next planned purchase will likely be an M1 Garand or a Remington 700 in .308. If I had the opportunity to get a deal on one, though, I'd probably pick up one of these. ![]()

Either a Remington R1911 or S&W 1911. Haven't decided yet.

"GOD, grant me the serenity to accept more guns into my gun safe, courage to add to my collection no matter what the wife says, and the wisdom to know the difference between a good buy and a piece of junk."
Love it!! For the sheer why-not-edness of it, my current object of desire is the FN FiveSeven. Hickock reviewed it, liked it but was trying to come for a reason for it. I fired it at a range, liked it, and came to the conclusion that if I had the money for it, I would need no further justification.... <sigh.....> |

Mine will be collector curio purchase that I doubt I'll ever fire. A Type 94 WW-2 Japanese pistol from a poster on the "What is it/value" forum.

Recently picked up at Beretta PX4 Storm .40 S&W. But for my next.....Not sure, but I'd like to get back to the old collectors type. Maybe something from the turn of the 20th century....Colt maybe.

Current wish list includes:
9mm - Springfield XD9 40S&W - Smith and Wesson M&P 40 or Beretta PX4 Storm 45Auto - Possibly a Ruger 1911CMD 357Magnum - Ruger GP100 with 4" barrel Out of these, the order I hope to get them in would be Springfield XD9, MP40, GP100, then 1911CMD. |
