Wink Appropriate images for state quarters

Let's help out the government, folks! What would be your suggestions for appropriate images for both sides of the new quarters coming out for each state? Here's some initial suggestions:

Indiana: A brown reculse spider on one side, and an image of John Dillinger on the other.

California: An Alfred E. Newman "What me worry" image on one side, and a canabis plant on the other.

Colorado: Pickenup's image on one side, and a box of Celestial Seasonings tea on the other.

Texas: An oil well on one side, steer head on another and Crpdeth on the other. Three sides but noone ever said Texas fit the common mould.

Newfoundland (what the heck, it's almost a state ): An iceberg on one side, and a polar bear on the other.

South Carolina: A Rebel Battle Flag on one side, and an okra pod on the other.

LMAO

Okay...I want a pic of an off set smoker on one side of the Texas coin to represent the love we have for BBQ and on the other side I'd like a pic of Tea Leoni, scantily clad, to represent the love we have for perfection.

Yep!

WOW, what a show.
Had to unplug all the electrical appliances AGAIN.
You getting any?
Oops, maybe I shouldn't be asking that.

Yes, and yes, Pick. We had a hell of a rain/lightning storm last night. Knocked out power for about two hours, right at dark. Isn't it interesting how one kind of lightning can often lead to another, especially when one happens to be out of candles?

Alternate Texas design: Road kill armadillo on one side, a mud bug on the other.

Florida: A lightning bolt on one side, an alligator on the other.

Alternate Indiana design: A cotton-tailed rabbit with antlers on one side, the portrait of John Hunt Morgan on the other.

Yep!
I have to agree with you about Tea Leoni, not only is she one of the hottest girls to be born in NYC, but she's also politically active. Her grandmother, Helenka Pantaleoni, co-founded what would become the US Fund for UNICEF in 1947 and served as its President for 25 years. Téa herself has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF since 2001. And she's a vegan to boot! I have to admit, I'm not exactly sure what a vegan is, but I think it means she leaves more Tenderloins for me!

Irish Quarter: An image of Captain Charles Cunningham Boycott on the obverse with a bar sinister across him, and the motto "Sinn Fein" on the reverse.

Of course, a bottle of Jameson on one side and a mug of bitters on the other would be equally appropriate.

That would be perfect if all the writing was in the original Irish and the denominations were in punts.

But Huck, the IR£ is worth considerably more than a U.S. quarter. Besides, punts were taken out of circulation in 2002 in favor of the Euro. We could always, of course, go retrograde and put the denomination in English shillings, but the IRA would probably raise hell.

Punts and pence, punts and pence! Shillings and quid maybe alright for the brits, but even they won't use the euro. Besides, I think the R.A. has enough USD stashed to carry them through any market fluctuation.
The advantage to shillings, quid and punts is that it confuses the daylights out of the rest of the world!
