Talking The Wrath of a Redhead...

As I was at work tonight, I thought I just HAD to share this story with you guys!

It's fairly common knowledge that redheads are typically pretty saucy and can even be a bit *ahem* temperamental upon occasion.

I told you guys on another thread how I've been having to clean clinics and offices for the past several months cuz I can't find a job. Well, there's this account that I do only on Sundays and have been a pain in the ass since Heath (owner) took them on. Every little bitty stupid thing they complain about. Well, Heath called me a couple weeks ago and was all like, "Don't get mad, but..." (he's aware of my fits...I locked him out of a building one time cuz I was mad! hehe) and he proceeded to tell me about Dee (manager of the hell-hole) claiming there had been a "bug under a chair for 3 weeks" (which was BS). I just calmly said (which should have been a red flag to begin with), "Alright...oh and by the way, this is the last weekend I'm cleaning that hell-hole." He said okay (he's been wanting to drop them forever anyway).

Well, I got there and I did my thing...then I took out a nice clean paper towel and neatly laid it on Dee's desk. Then I proceeded to get every #$!@(&#@ damn &*$($)@*#& bug/insect/spider I could possibly find (I even pulled the ones off those damn sticky terminix box thingys!). Then ever-so neatly placed each and every one on top of the paper towel on her desk (hey, at least I used a paper towel!).

Monday rolls around and I got the inevitable phone call from Heath. He asked me if I did it (not only expecting, but HOPING I'd lie, so HE could lie to her--which he did anyway) and of course, I said, "Yep. Sure did." He started stuttering and all kinds of stuff and I was just laughing. He said, "Wwww...well why??" I said, "She pissed me off. I just wanted her to see I WAS picking up all the damn bugs." When he talked to her, he said, "Oh of course she never meant to do that out of spite..." I said, "So you lied to her." He said, "Well, I dropped the account and then she started crying."

Anyway, I still laugh when I think about it! Good times, good times!

lol...no point in going into it, but let's just say I'm not worried about it...also, this isn't exactly my first rodeo

In your situation, I would have met with 'the complainer' and asked her nicely to show me the bug.
Good luck with your next job.
Oh my lord...you have no clue about me (or my "situation")...and that's more than fine...it was just something to laugh about pal...I am the LAST person who needs a lecture in responsibility. I have nothing to prove to you or anybody else for that matter.

LMAO!!! Appearances can be deceiving, "pal"...

At this juncture, I do not necessarily blame you for misunderstanding the difference between a redheaded woman and a man.

However, for future reference...save your "advice" for someone who cares.

Avis Flammae, you could have left one of these on her desk:

Though I am pretty well known as a master practical joker and a Grand Master at revenge, I've decided that I will not be messing with you Firebird.

As a sidebar, I am most surprised that someone of your intellect and skill (anyone who reads and writes fluent Latin is either a Mensa member or intellectually curious to a fault) can find only menial work. What part of the world do you live and what is your preferred means of income generation? If I can help, I will.
