Default MORE NRA BETRAYAL

This is self-explanatory!!!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ALERT FROM JEWS FOR THE PRESERVATION OF FIREARMS OWNERSHIP
America's Aggressive Civil Rights Organization
September 6, 2007
JPFO ALERT: NRA Director Says Five Rounds is Enough
That JPFO and the NRA have different views on "gun control"
is no secret; you can read our position -- and view
supporting evidence -- at
http://www.jpfo.org/alert20061211.htm . You can also read
an article on the NRA's recent alignment with gun-
prohibitionist Carolyn McCarthy at
http://www.jpfo.org/smith-nra.htm .
And now, NRA Director Joaquin Jackson has publically stated
that magazine capacities should be limited to five rounds
and that "assault weapons [sic] should be limited to military
or police." That's right -- a director of the supposedly
pro-gun NRA wants to take YOUR semi-automatic rifles away.
Don't believe us? Think it's just a rumor? View the evidence
for yourself at
http://www.klru.org/texasmonthlytalk...ckson5_44k.mov
(we also have it mirrored on the JPFO site at
http://www.jpfo.org/joaquin.mov ).
Already the NRA apologists are coming out of the woodwork.
Anyone who points out the hypocrisy of Jackson's position are
denounced as "wackos", "black helicopter paranoids," and "just
trying to make a buck."
It's time to "Humiliate and Repudiate" Joaquin Jackson and
the NRA. Go to http://www.jpfo.org/handbill-joaquin.jpg to
see our latest handbill. Print it out and distribute it to
those who still believe the NRA is working in the interest
of gun owners. They are not.
If you value the truth more than betrayal and want an
aggressive defense of your natural and Second Amendment
rights, visit http://www.jpfo.org/member.htm to learn how
you can join JPFO. We encourage you to use our "gun control"
destroying books and videos ( http://shop.jpfo.org ) and get
on board with us today.
- The Liberty Crew
PS Don't forget that you can view all our "Humiliate and
Repudiate" handbills at http://www.jpfo.org/freebies.htm
You know, Marlin, I've wondered for quite a long while if the anti-gunners have somehow managed surreptitiously to infiltrate the NRA. In the past, the NRA has been highly influential in the defeat of leftist candidates, as Clinton found out in 1996. Could it be that the anti-gunners are now trying a different, more subtle tactic? Personally, I would have dropped my membership in NRA a long time ago were it not a requirement for membership in the range where I shoot.
Looks like yet another reason why I'm a member of GOA (Gunowners of America). GOA is like JPFO no compromise!
While GOA may be a worthwhile organization, their website leaves much to be desired. The site looks like the "rookie amateur hour." Very poor presentation and organization.
I'm sorry, but, if I'm to be even tempted to join an organization, it's got to at least LOOK like it has its act together.
I'd expect it to look like that if memberships were free, but they charge, and it should look professional. It's relatively inexpensive to have a professionally done site built these days.
I don't mean to offend, but the comments are offered as my opinion only (someone who does graphic design and video production professionally).
I've read his retraction and it reminds me of a cat trying to cover his leavings but there's not enough litter in the box to hide it all.
JMHO and I have never thought much of Jackson as a person.
I've been a Life Member of the NRA since 1970 and I'm about ready to send them my card back.
When I first posted here recently I made the comment about it being nice to not get bashed for supporting GOA. The above quote was exactly the attitude at a popular firearms forum I'd been involved in for some time and it basically ran me off.
Aside from that my fear is that NRAs position on this and hr2640 is going to do incredible damage in regards to the fence-sitters and uninformed non-firearm owners who tend to throw their support in the direction of whoever makes the most noise.
