I needed a front sight for a Remington M580 .22 caliber bolt action rifle. I emailed this shop (BOB'S GUN SHOP , Po Box 200 Royal AR) inquiring if they had one. The text of our communications is reproduced below.

Note that Bob LIED about having one. Never shipped. LIED about telling me he was out of stock. Lost my order. And now cannot remember if he charged my credit card or not.

He did tell me that if, by chance, he happened to charge my credit card then he'll give me a refund!

All ya'll should take due notice and govern yourselves accordingly.

Like I said, WHAT AN ASS!

Note: If any of ya'll is Bob, then I DON'T take anything back and you sure need to clean up your business procedures.

Yours is a very interesting way to run a ship.

It seems that, perhaps, you have discovered a really novel way to build a

Your gun shop must be very successful, in fact, I am surprised that you are
still working and have not yet retired.

The time now is 3:49 p.m. CST, Tuesday, March 5, 2002.

Effective immediately: Cancel this order.

Effective immediately: Your authorization to charge the before-mentioned
credit card is hereby revoked and you may not charge anything to it.
Please destroy all records that you have of my credit card number.
