Revelation 12 ga pump

I have an old Revelation 12 Ga pump that the slide pin is broke on. Could I replace this with a roll pin the same length? I believe the model is a R310ABR. The Mossburg action slides i looked at online seem to be one piece and not pinned together. Anyone have any ideas?
