Hi
I picked up a Savage 99-358, 22" bbl, back in '77 and have played with it quite a bit. I'll give you what worked best for me.
Well here ya go..

W-W brass, W-W primer

180 gr Speer FN H-335 52.0grs. 2650 fps

200 gr Rem PSP or SP IMR3031 45.0-47.0grs. 47grs 2500 fps
200 gr Hornady SP H-335 50.5grs 2500 fps
748 50.5grs 2420 fps

250 gr Speer Spitzer H-335 45.0grs 2260 fps

Velocities taken with a Oehler 33 chronograph 15 feet from muzzle.

Always work up loads with caution.
