Default Herb BBQ'd Chicken

1 fryer cut into quarters
1 cup catsup
1/3 cup water
3 tablespoons wine vinegar
1 tablespoon steak sauce
2 drops Tabasco sauce (or heavy shakes for some of you)
1 minced garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine all ingredients, except chicked in saucepan. Heat to boiling point. Place chicken quarters, skin-side-up, on BBQ grill about 5" from heat. Brush with sauce. Turn frequently, basting with sauce on each turn. Cooking time will be 45-60 min., depending on weight of bird and heat of coals. SERVES: 4
