I have a US Gov. Issue Colt Model 1911 .45, made in 1918.
Can anyone tell me what size recoil spring it uses? I think mine is getting a little weak because at times it won't go all the way back into battery after firing. I thought I'd try a new spring to see if that will solve the problem. TIA killbuck ......... "Diapers and politicians need to be changed from time to time.
