Default on Trading and swapping.

The trades I have made, yes, gun related.

I used to be a real trade type guy.. This started back about 1969 or so. I was an electrician for subdivision in Houston area. I saved extra light fixtures and plugs and switches and what not.. Had enough stuff to do a house with.. Ran into a guy with local power company who did the connects and inspections on all my houses. In talking I mentioned I wanted a portable generator.. One thing led to another and I traded him all the stuff to wire his house for his portable generator..

Traded that off sometime later for a small aluminum boat, traded that later for pool table.

Traded that off for 30-30 universal firearms automatic with two banana clips and a Ruger 22 cal. Single Six revolver. Traded the 30-30 for flat bottom boat and outboard boat motor, motor was new.

Sold that flat bottom boat and motor when I bought my big bay boat.. Kept the Ruger.. Sold the big boat back after three years for what I paid for it, fiberglass and petroleum products had gone sky high and it was worth the same as I had paid for it after three years of use.

Bought a PU and camper and traded it off for two VW bugs that needed some little work.
Sold both of them later and bought a new Ford LTD for wife.. Divorced that wife after I caught her and my best friend doing the horizontal mambo.. She got the car.. Sure miss the car.. Over the years also traded my electrical and computer services for different work or products…

Traded my 30-06 Remington 742 for a beat up work car,, cause I needed one real bad.

So I was left with the Ruger Single Six after all those years… Traded it off last week for a nice Makarov 9x18mm Pistol. Getting older and not out and around as much as I used to,, maybe my last trade.. Can’t find anyone that wants to trade for any of my wife’s cats.

Some of that sure sounds familiar, and NO, I don't want any cats.

Thank God.

Was kidding about my cats. The good watch cats and warn us when some killer bird is in the area..
They do keep the mice population down in the barn.

Well, that takes them out of the "varmint' category & puts them in the "critter" category! Good kitties.

We live in a drop off area. We, at the moment, have 7 1/2 cats.
