I just picked up a Springfield 9181 1911..Stainless v-10. I have to say I love this gun. Can anyone tell me where to get a good extended slide release in ss please..I've been following this forum for some time and there seems to be a vast amount of knowledge from everyone..I have many questions for the future! thanks

Welcome Loaded! I hope yo love your V-10 as much as I love my V-16. What a joy to shoot ! Think about getting a Pachmyer wrap around finger groove grip. I think you will love it. It is better than the Hogue.

Thanks a lot for all the info. This gun shoots great. Misprint its the V-12 sorry. I already picked up the Hugue grips.
I'll check out the ones you mentioned. This week or next its going in for a trigger change. I want to get rid of the verticle "wobble" it in now.

anyone recomend someone that does chrome?
