Scope Mount For 10/22 Target Rifle question.

Is anybody familiar with the Weigand 10/22 "Integramount" for the Ruger 10/22 rifle? This rifle is a new project for me and I wanted a fairly good scope mount for it. I have available a Tasco 9-24X40mm or a BSA 9-24X40mm to put on the rifle and this Weigand mount looked like a good solid one to use. Is this mount a good one to use?

This is an excellent mount .But if you ever plan on using a scope with a larger objective 42 - 44mm. It will have to be replaced. JMHO.

Thanks "45". Do you or anybody else know if there is a rail built for the 10/22 receiver that I can use a detachable scope mount similar to the scope mount I use on my flat-top AR-15?

Aren't either of those 2 scopes a case of overkill?
Who is General Anxiety and does he worry me?

30 years ago I would have just used a 3-9 power scope for shooting a .22 at 50 yards but due to my age and poor eye sight I just can't seem keep in the center of them little holes I shoot in the target without using a little extra glass power.

Jeeper1, I use a 4x12 for 25-50 yards and could use more...but mine are fer huntin squirrels. LTS

The way I figure it, It's whatever YOU like to use. In the past I liked iron sights and tried my hand at shooting my AR in competition. I didn't do to bad but then my eyesight started going south. It's still all just for fun, a LOT OF FUN. I've just started into the 10/22 target rifle thing so I'll probably make a lot of changes before I'm satisfied with it.
