I am looking to purchase a model 1899 Remington 12 ga. double barrel shotgun from my neighbor. It has plain barrels , with no bluing and slight surface rust. The stock has a crack clear thru. The forearm is in decent shape. Virtually no finish left on the wood. Mechanically sound , ejector ,hammers and lock all work. Firing pins work. I am certain that it would be unsafe to use todays powder in this gun so I guess it would just be a wallhanger. Any idea on price or ideas on cool things to do with this gun?
Thanks , Tyler
