What all do you do with your spare time? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other than spending time on the computer (which I do quite frequently) or kicked back in the recliner with remote in hand (which I usually am doing when I'm not on my computer), what all do you do with your spare time. What all do you do with your spare time? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actually I don't spend that much time with the remote and when I am not on the box here I spend most of my time "hand painting" rifle stocks with various camo patterns. Kinda keeps me outta trouble and gives me a feeling of some kind of accomplishment. What all do you do with your spare time? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well sir in my spare time when I'm not at the computer, I'm either at my regular job or my weekend job. When I'm not at either of those I try to spend a lot of my time at the range (little cold right now to be doing that - but I do try). Come spring and summer lots of yard work in between working and shooting at the range (as you can tell I like shooting). I think your gun stocks are beautifully painted - very nice work. I'm getting ready to take down my Enfield and work on the stock or maybe the Mauser. However, I'm just trying to restore them right now. What all do you do with your spare time? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Would you Old Rounders pick on me if I told you yesterday I made beef enchilidas and three-bean salad and today I baked cracked-wheat bread, made a meatloaf, mashed potato/gravy (from scratch) and baked a chocolate cake that I still have to frost (now, that frosting comes outta the can). Wanna join the snach and grab session for dinner that the grandson's take great interest in! Yes, the stocks on the weapons are really beautiful---wish I were so talented. In 1963 on Okinawa, I had this standard issue M-14 that I really kept nice---it had a burled maple stock---most had walnut. However I painted a bulkhead once--does that count??? As for spare time I get that when it rains and keeps me inside the house. Like T, I like to work outside in my garden and flowers in the summer. I like to sew and quilt when extra time allows and I do not especially like to cook. However, I do take time out for baking. Oh Well, maybe someday, I'll get it figured out! Oh Yea!
