I have a Revelation Model 207 Lever action 30-30 bought at Western Auto Many years ago By my grandfather for his Father. Not sure how old it is. I do know that it was only shot approx. 7 times just to sight in scope.
My grandfather passed about a month ago (83yrs) and I don't even remember his father and I am 40yrs old. his father lived in Red Bolings Tenn. Just wanted an approx. value and how I can find out how old it is! The 30-30 is in most excellent shape. My grandfather took it out and regularly wiped it down. Need help? Bob

Mossberg 472 variant. A couple on on-line auctions at ~$300. WAuto brand will bring a bit less. Look here .. http://www.gun-data.com/western_auto_revelation.html
Marlin, Mossberg, Winchester made lookalike 30-30's and made them for several 'store brands'. - Sears, Wards, JC Penney, WAuto, White's Auto, ......
