Can someone tell me what the LTC in the Para 1911 LTC means? I assume it means something like "Light Carry". I've searched the Para wesite and I find no explanation of what it means.
By the way, has anyone else had to login several times over the course of composing a message for posting? It seems to occur sometimes as often as 45 seconds or so apart.

The only thing I can find is the "C" stands for Commander size.

Hey, I think you may have found the answer. The pistol weighs only 28 oz. so "Light Commander" may be what LTC means. Most 1911s this size weight close to 40 oz. Thanks!

I did a little research a while back, since I have a Para LTC .45.
The LTC stands for "Lieutenant Commander". |
