I recently received a Series 80 marked: U.S. Military Academy. Under that is: Class of 1995. It has a three digit serial that begins with BCxxx.NIB. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It may be a limited run. Colt does that at times. I can't find anything on the 1991-A1 for USMA. You can find the info you want by contacting Colt directly.

Hi tyfla99.....welcome to TFF.

There's no mention of your gun in either the 23rd Edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values, or in the 2003 Standard Catalog of Firearms.

As Shooter says, guess you'll have to contact Colt directly.

Hello. Thanks for answering. Looks like I'll call Colt in the morning, site is not set up for E-mail. It's my first Colt and my first handgun I won't be able to shoot! It's got me looking for a shooter 1911.

I called Colt and got some more info. It is a limited edition,500 guns. Not a public offering, bought through the Academy. Looks like a keeper. I think I'll head over to the "What's it worth page..". Just for fun though...My kids are listing merits on why they should be the one to inherit. Now I gotta tell 'em we are not related.
