SKS Info - The Firearms Forum

I have a Norinco SKS with the following markings on the left side of the receiver.

Rectangle with marking - 3 - marking ( see photos)

to the right of the rectangle 3 chinese letters/markings

to the right of the chinese markings a number: 2204XXXX N

to the right of that is the following : SKS7062X39 Made in China By Norinco Poly USA ATL GA

A little background: Bought this from a buddy for $100 and I know it is prob worth that. Not looking to sell just wanted some info on the weapon. Is in good shape with no rust or pitting.... have no idea how many rounds have been run through but it looks to be in good shape.

Any info would be very much appreciated...
