I was filling out the C&R application today, but I got to thinking...
I'm going to move soon... probably about 3 months. If I get the license now, can I have things shipped to me at an address different from the one listed on the license? Or should I just hold off and get the license when I'm in a more permanent situation? I don't want to go through the hastle and only have the thing work for me for 3 months.

I think the license is only valid for the address specified during application process which is then printed on the hard copy of the C&R FFL. I'm pretty sure you can change it but this would involve additional paperwork and time for the change to be implemented....
Hope this helps.

Thanks Pawn.
I guess I'll just pay the transfer fee for now. A guy nearby will do it for $15, so that's not too bad.
