Little JD made his appearance at 10:22 this morning!! He weighed in at 6 lbs. 4 oz., and 19 inches long. Mother and baby are doing fine. Not so sure about Mom Mom!! My daughter's neighbor was with my daughter thru the birth. She called me at work to tell me and all I could do was cry!! She put my daughter on the phone and I cried harder!! *lol* I wish I could have been there with her. My daughter sounded really good!! Glad its over for her. Now to bring them all home here for Christmas!!

Chris, I attempted to scribe a short note last evening to greet young JD into the world but got booted off line---can't gather the exact thoughts I had for him but, I nicknamed him SLIM due to his abbreviated body weight---I gauge that against my own body mass when I was born---I was 12# plus according to the proud statements my Mother used to make everytime I would bring a young female for her to meet---Mom had a way with words---I think she scared many of those young fillies off when she would tell them I nursed up until I was 5 years old---and then it took another year to wean me completely !!! Yeah, I lost my train of thought--forgive me for rambling!!! Wilborn

Thanks for the congratulations everyone!! I've been having computer problems, so I'm only online for a short while at a time!! Mom and baby are doing great!! We are going to Va the weekend before Christmas to bring them home. I can't wait!! They sent me pics of him right after he was born. He is a cutie!!
