Default Identification of Husqvarna 30:06

Hello. I inherited this Husqvarna Vapenfabriks A.B. 30:06 U.S. rifle in the 1980s. The stamped number on the left side of the barrel is 282683. I have looked over the complete rifle, and I am not able to identify any model numbers, or any other numbers. I am interested in finding out about the specific model and series, along with any other information I can obtain. I have a number of photos posted. I appreciate any help I can get with identifying this rifle. Thank you Roy Phillips

Hi Roy......welcome to TFF.

Well, without photos or more information, I can't tell you very much about your Husky.

Does it have a Model # on it? Any other writing on it?

What I can tell you is that it's a high quality rifle, was made in Husqvarna, Sweden, and has a Mauser-type action.
