saw that Midway is advertising an 18" carbon fiber Butler Creek10/22 barrel I thought all the CF barrels were 17"? have you used any of these? how's the accuracy compare to a 20" steel barrel? I'm thinking about changing mine to shave some weight

Fred, the BC "Non-Compensated" is 17" and the "Compensated" is 18".....but one inch is the comp. therefore, it too is only 17" of usable barrel. I shake badly, for hunting/humping.....carbon fiber, from a rest....20" steel. Best LTS
