Default Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag

Had problem with Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag s/n 81-94xxx with the cylinder base pin moving forward during firing,replaced base pin & base pin latch with new parts,the pin is still moving forwards even with mild reloads,anyone know why this occurs thanks in advance for any help.Kestral

I don't know the cause, and I have never had this happen, but I hear that it is very common with Rugers, and that the Belt Mountain Base Pin was invented to cure it.

had one that did the same thing sent it back to ruger took 8 weeeks but the issue is fixed
