Default 308 Reloading problem

i loaded some 308 bullets yesterday using 49.5 grains of powder, and 55grain low drag bullets w/ winchester primers, and winchester brass, i got a few rounds and all the casings were cracked at the neck.. what did i do wrong to cause the cracking?

Not 100% sure but my guess is that you needed to measure the case length and trim back to specification. Cracks or burns in the neck are usually signs of case length being too long.
