Default Rossi 357, model 972, no speed loader

I can't find a speed loader for this 6" 357. All of the loader brands have one for the 971 (4"model) and the Taurus model 65. I believe the body on the 972 is exactly the same as these, minus barrel length. Thanks.

I just discovered that the cylinder release button is the problem. A speed loader site mentioned that the button has to be changed or modified. Where on earth would I find a flatter button? I guess I could make one and drill the same size screw hole in it and cut the screw shorter or find a shorter screw. Any ideas?

uniqorn51,

Sounds like you might have a good idea, to make your own. Doubt that anyone else is.....If it were me I would be tempted to use brass, as it is easier to work with. If you have a milling machine, use what ever you want! The screw will most likely be metric, so save your origial, and the release. Sounds like a neat weekend project! Best regards Kirk
