I think it is likely NOT Tran, Pistol.

The little fellow sounds to me as though he were from Down Under, not across the pond in the land of the Union Jack....

Actually, Marlin, the guy who does the voice is indeed from the land of the Union Jack. Jake Wood, a British actor and comedian, is the current voice of the GEICO gecko. I bothered to look it up before I decided to rib Martin.

True, SoMo, most incriminating indeed. On the other hand, if the GEICO gecko were really Tranter, they would probably illustrate him packing a Browning Hi Power or a 1911 pattern Colt.

Actually, I have it on good authority that Tranter has complained that the hands of the gecko costume are so small that the only thing that will fit is a Raven.
