Here in western NC we got some nasty snow and ice happening so I am not going to work this morning. Got the coffee perking and wondering what to do today, might have to go in later, but I work outside and think I might just stay home.
I hate wintertime, more so the idiots that can't drive in it. Eastbound 40 is closed due to accidents and many local roads are impassible at the moment. Hope this stuff goes away soon... ![]()

Yes, it has cooled down here too. Yesterday was in the low 80's and we may get rain next week and temperatures in the high 60's. :-) :-)
We do get snow about once a year and some cold days in the 30's for a month or so but we also get weeks of 100 degree heat. That's what you get in the High Desert in California. I hate our cold season, love the spring and fall, and can take the heat. What a contrast to the East Coast where you live! Stay safe when diriving in the snow and ice! LDBennett |

Same over here, snow predicted for the weekend.
There's a range shoot tomorrow at my local barracks followed by an arms fair about 90 miles away on Sunday. Lets see what the weather looks like? Maybe I will just stay in and drink tea instead.

We're in the icebox here in Minnesota already, it was 11F when I got up this morning. There have been snow showers over the past few weeks and the lakes are starting to freeze over now. I'm really not happy about the impending ice, black ice, snow, bad drivers...well, I just don't like winter. Staying home is the best idea ever.

Rough,
We got the cold on this side of the mountains, but other than a few flurries, no snow to worry about as the clouds are breaking up with blue sky breaking through even as I type. Darn wind is whipping at 15 to 18 mph, though. Yesterday it was almost 60º. Go figure. 18º expected for tomorrow morning, so the Saturday morning range time will be a bit chilly. Den-'in'! ![]()

It is 38 here just before noon, It is only supposed to reach 45 or so today. I love the cooler time of year and snow occasionally but just not the ice.
